Dr Suresh Nair

Dr Suresh Nair is a senior consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist currently in group private practice in the Gynecology Consultant’s Clinic and Surgery at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, Unit #12-16, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.

His areas of subspecialty interest are: minimally invasive laparoscopic and hytsteroscopic surgery, robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery, assisted reproductive technologies including ovarian tissue cryopreservation in oncological patients.

He was awarded the Singapore Government Training Programme where he spent 2 years training in endoscopic surgery from 1991 to 1993 in the United States of America, United Kingdom, France and Germany.

He was admitted by the Council of the University of New South Wales to the degree of Master of Reproductive Medicine of 17 August 2009. He is currently the Medical Director of the Parkway Fertility Centre, the assisted reproductive centre situated in Mount Elizabeth Hospital where about 500 fresh cycles are done per year. He is also a Visiting Consultant to the National University Hospital, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Changi General Hospital. He had held the post as President of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore from March 2009 to March 2011.

He has been invited as faculty to lecture and conduct training programmes in assisted reproduction and endoscopic surgery at regional and international meetings, and has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and written chapters in several authoritative books.

He has been a keen teacher and mentor to gynaecologists in Singapore and the region. He derives great joy and fulfilment in proctoring and guiding those who wish to improve their clinical skills but is ever willing to learn from both his senior and junior colleagues.

Dr Tay Eng Hseon is a Senior Consultant Gynaecologist at the Royal Women’s Cancer Centre & Pelvic Surgery.

Dr Tay offers a comprehensive range of services focused on gynaecological pre-cancer, tumours, and cancers, managing conditions such as Cervical Intra-epithelial Neoplasia (CIN), Vaginal Intra-epithelial Neoplasia (VAIN), and Vulvar Intra-epithelial Neoplasia (VIN). He specialises in treating tumours of the ovary, uterus, cervix, vagina, and vulva. His expertise also includes managing Gestational Trophoblastic Diseases, conducting cancer screenings, and administering HPV vaccinations for cervical cancer prevention. Dr Tay is skilled in advanced procedures such as colposcopy and biopsy, cone biopsy, LEEP surgery, laser surgery, and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr Tay is also a Gynaecological and Oncological Associate Professor with numerous qualifications and accolades in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from prestigious institutions worldwide. With over three decades of experience, he has held pivotal roles in healthcare establishments across Singapore and Australia, establishing himself as a respected authority in the medical community.

Notably, Dr Tay served as the former Chairman of the Medical Board and Head of Gynaecological Oncology Services at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. His expertise and surgical proficiency in addressing gynaecological cancers have garnered significant recognition within Singapore and the broader region.

Beyond his clinical roles, Dr Tay has held positions in prestigious medical organisations, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field. He has been a Founding Member and Honorary Treasurer of the Asia Oceania Organisation of Genital Tract Infection & Neoplasia (AOGIN) and served as Chairman of Gynaecological Oncology for the Asia Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AOFOG) from 2007 to 2011. He was Chairman of Gynaecological Oncology at the College of O&G Singapore from 2007 to 2009 and a Clinical Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore from 2005 to 2009. Dr. Tay also served as Chairman of the Medical Board and Head of the Department of Gynaecological Subspecialties at KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital from 2004 and led the Gynaecological Oncology department from 2002 to 2004.

Dr Kelly Loi is an obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G) specialist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.

Her special interests are in antenatal care and fertility treatment such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF).

In caring for patients for over 15 years, she has developed expertise in antenatal and obstetrics care, fertility treatment and surgery. Apart from her subspecialty interest in performing assisted reproductive care and IVF for patients, she also performs minimally invasive gynae-laparoscopic and reproductive surgery.

Dr Loi was a former consultant in the department of reproductive medicine at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). She continues to be a medical director of Mount Elizabeth Fertility Centre at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

During her medical training, she completed attachments in the US at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University. After graduating, she worked as a house officer in the John Radcliffe Hospital and the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. She started specialising in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology as a senior house officer in St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College, London.

On her return to Singapore, she continued her training in obstetrics and gynaecology, with a subspecialty interest in fertility and reproductive medicine. She was also actively involved in the teaching faculties of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School.

Her dedication to patients has won her the Excellent Clinical Service Award as well as the Long Service Award from KKH in 2008. She was also awarded an overseas fellowship by the Ministry of Health to undergo advanced training in Belgium in fertility preservation for cancer patients.

Dr Loi has been actively involved in research in these areas and has presented papers on these topics at local and international medical conferences. She has also authored numerous medical papers and was a reviewer for peer-reviewed international medical journals on obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr Steven Teo graduated from National University of Singapore and went on to train in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (United Kingdom). He attained the specialist degree of Master of Medicine (O&G) from Singapore and became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (United Kingdom).

As a specialist in Royal Healthcare Medical Centre, Dr Teo had previously received various awards for exemplary performance in public service.

Besides general obstetrics and gynaecology practice, Dr Teos passion lies in fertility treatment and advanced keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery. As no two patients are the same, the combination of these subspecialties allows Dr Steven Teo to individualize therapy for each patient.

He also obtained Ministry of Health (MOH) accreditation to practice the full spectrum of assisted reproduction techniques (ART), including IVF, ICSI, and surgical sperm retrieval.

Under the MOH-Singhealth HMDP program, he trained in Sydney (Australia) with renowned laparoscopic surgeons to be proficient in the removal of endometriosis and advanced keyhole surgery.

As a fertility specialist, Dr Steven Teo has helped many couples realise their dreams of parenthood. As an obstetrician, he has looked after many pregnancies and delivered precious bundles of joy. As a gynaecologist, women of all ages have benefitted from receiving surgery and medical treatment under him. As a doctor, his vision is to provide care and comfort to all patients.

Dr Fong Kah Leng has full registration with Singapore Medical Council and General Medical Council (UK). Dr Fong provides a full range of out-patient services and surgeries in obstetrics and gynaecology. Her area of work includes providing pregnancy care & delivery, management of common gynaecological conditions such as uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, menopause, family planning, endometriosis etc, hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgery.

She has a special interest in lower genital tract cancer prevention and screening; including colposcopy and vulval diseases and treatment of pre-invasive conditions. She had several research projects and publications in that area. She was a principal investigator for the multi-center clinical trials of one of the HPV vaccines against cervical cancer. Her medical career is dedicated to direct contact with her patients. Her dedication to patient care has led her to receive several awards such as the Excellence service award (EXSA) Gold and Singapore Health Quality Service Silver Award.
