Dr. Kristanto’s journey in medicine began at the prestigious National University of Singapore (NUS), where he laid the foundation for his career. He further honed his skills during his junior and senior residencies at the National University Hospital, gaining invaluable clinical experience.
Dr. Kristanto is proud to have been recognized with the MOH HMDP (Ministry of Health Healthcare Manpower Development Program) award, which provided him with the opportunity to train under the mentorship of the world-renowned Dr. Sidney Lo at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospital in New South Wales.
Dr. Kristanto’s areas of expertise include Complex Coronary angioplasty, where he utilizes the latest techniques such as FFR, IMR, and CFR to ensure precise assessments. He also employs intracoronary imaging tools like IVUS and OCT to maintain the highest standards of care. Additionally, he specializes in managing complex coronary interventions for calcified vessels, employing innovative methods such as intravascular lithotripsy and coronary atherectomy, and performing challenging bifurcation and CTO (Chronic Total Occlusion) interventions.
